What We Do

• Kiwifruit Maturity Testing

  As part of Zespri's export maturity clearance programme, Pinpoint collects and tests kiwifruit from orchards throughout the Bay of Plenty.

• Pest Monitoring

  Pinpoint's expansive pest monitoring programme samples orchards from Whāngarei to Gisborne and everywhere in between.  Field teams methodically assess for pests of concern on orchard as well as collecting leaves, which the lab then inspect for scale.

• Analytical Lab

  Pinpoint's Analytical Lab conduct tests for ethylene, metabolites, refrigerants, titratable acidity, and pollen viability. 

• Maturity Monitoring

  Interested in how your fruit is progressing?  Pinpoint conducts maturity monitoring tests for kiwifruit and avocados, with results delivered within 24 hours.

• Crop Assessment

  Pinpoint collects winter bud, flower and fruitlet data, providing the industry with regional benchmarks.

• Bactericide Auditing

  As part of Zespri's bactericide programme, Pinpoint provides post-spray auditing services to ensure orchards are compliant with industry safety standards.

• Industry Trials

  Pinpoint partners with industry bodies to conduct a variety of post-harvest storage trials.  These trials help refine storage methods and aid the development of new products.
